Why?
I have lived in my fair share of places. These places, regions, countries speak different languages than I know. I always felt that there should be something, I don’t know, maybe an app that fills this place. That allows people with no common language between them to communicate and understand each other.
This was the birth of the idea. To give credit where it is due, the idea came from Utkarsh Upadhyay and I kind of followed up. There were a couple of reasons why ConverseNow stayed with us, it can: (i) help us communicate; (ii) and learn a new language.
So, I/we decided to build the app. ConverseNow is a translation based chat app that allows you to send messages asynchronously from different locations like other chatting apps. It does translations for both text and voice in real-time. Users are linked using their phone numbers as identities and their phone directories show the list of contacts on ConverseNow.
I am building this startup company and this is my first shot at it. Coming from a non-entrepreneurial background I am blogging my experience here.
